Routes2Success works with various educational establishments and organisations to help young black males aged 11-25 set up their own social entrepreneurship led projects. Chosen project ideas have helped to empower individuals giving them various job roles within the group.
As well as developing various skills including presentation, increased communication and social skills; projects have also helped with developing community cohesion reaching out to young people within the local community.
Guided by R2S volunteer male role models with expertise in the chosen project fields, the teams followed an 8 week project development process; using our six step ‘Local Project Handbook’. The role models provided ongoing support and advice throughout the whole project development process.
